At Wednesday night's Michelin Guide to the American South ceremony in Nashville, five Chattanooga and two Sewanee restaurants were awarded and celebrated as being worthy of starred inclusion in the noteworthy internationally-known guide.

Chef Erik and Amanda Niel's Easy Bistro, Little Coyote and Main Street Meats were awarded for the second year in a row, as was Chef Mallory Grimm's LUNCH in Sewanee, Tenn.

The Rosecomb was awarded for the second year in a row. Joining the 2027 list: 2nd American.

"To have all three of our restaurants included in the MICHELIN Guide American South for the second consecutive year is truly incredible," said Chef Niel. "This recognition reflects years of dedication, heart, resilience, and passion."

Little Coyote earned its second Bib Gourmand award. In Sewanee, Judith: an American Tavern joined Chef Grimm on the Michelin list.

A more in-depth story is coming Sunday.
